Terms of Service
Simple rules that protect your time and privacy
Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms explain how Desired Email works and what you can expect when using the service. By creating an account or using Desired Email, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you understand how the system is designed to operate. If you are signing up on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization.
Use requires the right age or the right consent
Eligibility and Consent
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement in your location or have proper consent from a parent, guardian, school, or employer. Accounts created for minors require adult or institutional approval and ongoing oversight. If required consent is missing, withdrawn, or unclear, we may pause, restrict, or close the account to protect all parties.
Simple, private, and under your control
About the Service
Desired Email is a closed email system designed to reduce unwanted contact and protect user privacy. You control who may contact you, and executable code is not run inside the system. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless canceled in advance. You may cancel at any time, and service will continue through the end of the paid period. Fees and taxes are non-refundable unless required by law.
We never sell your data
Privacy, Data, and Cookies
We encrypt data in transit and at rest and never sell personal data. We collect only what is needed to operate the service, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not read your messages. Only essential cookies are used, and we do not track you across other websites.
Built for reliability, ready for the unexpected
Service Availability
We work to keep Desired Email available and functioning as expected and provide notice of planned maintenance when possible. Unplanned outages or interruptions may occur. The service is provided “as is,” and liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.
Modern systems for the safest experience
Supported Systems
Desired Email supports modern browsers that meet current security requirements, including HTML5 and JavaScript ES6. Supported platforms may change as technology and security standards evolve. Keeping your device and browser updated helps ensure proper functionality and protection.
Respectful communication keeps everyone safe
Acceptable Use
You may not use Desired Email for harassment, spam, phishing, malware distribution, illegal activity, or attempts to bypass security controls. False reports and abuse of moderation systems are not allowed. Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or permanent removal from the service.
Important notices are delivered inside your account
Notices
Official notices, billing updates, and policy changes are delivered through your Desired Email account or by email. We may update these Terms as laws or features change and will notify you before material changes take effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Clear rules backed by Texas law
Governance
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, except where local consumer protections apply. If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining sections remain in effect. These Terms continue to apply even after your account is closed, where relevant.
A faster, simpler way to resolve disputes
Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Most concerns can be resolved quickly by talking with us directly. We believe open communication solves most problems and helps everyone move forward. Arbitration exists only as a last step if a disagreement cannot be resolved in good faith.
If a dispute does arise, you and Desired Email agree to resolve it through individual arbitration rather than in court. Arbitration is a private process that is typically faster, simpler, and less expensive than a lawsuit. It helps both sides avoid long delays and high legal costs.
Arbitration will be conducted by a neutral third party under the rules of a recognized arbitration organization. The arbitration may take place in Texas or by secure video conference, depending on what is reasonable for the situation. Each party will have the opportunity to present information and explain their position clearly.
You and Desired Email agree that disputes will be handled on an individual basis only. This means claims may not be brought as part of a class action, group action, or representative proceeding. This keeps the process focused, fair, and specific to the people involved.
You may choose to opt out of arbitration within thirty days of creating your account by providing written notice. If you opt out properly, disputes may be resolved through the court system instead, subject to applicable law. Opting out does not affect your ability to use the service.
Nothing in this section limits your ability to contact us with questions or concerns at any time. Our goal is not conflict, but clarity, fairness, and respectful resolution. We believe disputes should be handled calmly and responsibly, just like the service we provide.
